I tried that too.

I can copy one of the fields that works. For instance even a larger number. Copy it over, change the data source and the dollar sign goes away. I look back at the table and both are "currency 8"

I can work around the issue by adding something like "$"+alltrim(prchecks.mc) to the fields it don't work on, but that doesn't explain what is happening.

No biggie I guess, just thought someone might have experienced it before. Thanks for the input.
