You're kidding, right? "PC" has never been a conservative issue that I'm aware of. Censorship on religious grounds has been - but that is the far far religious right not conservatism. Part of the problem is also lumping all religious fanatics in the far right and lumping all social liberals in the far left. It's not that simple. All republicans are not religous zealots (or even religious) and all democrats are not extreme liberals.

The NAACP has never been a conservative organization. It's not conservatives promoting "PC" in schools either.

One of the surprising things is how the term "liberalism" has changed. Back in Samuel Clemens' time, to be liberal usually meant to support free enterprise and individual property rights, oppose slavery, reject class systems, support free trade, support the advance of women's rights, push for technological progress, and to have serious doubts toward government control of anything.

Wow have times changed. :o)
