As evidenced by the first time since 1923 there was a two-digit vote against her as House Minority Leader. That just doesn't happen. All that usually gets resolved before the public voting takes place. It was done publicly to let her know where some in her party stand and they weren't going to settle for doing it behind the scenes this time -- of course they also wanted to let their constituents know where they stood for the next election... :o)
