What is the exact version of VFP9 you're seeing?

I see 7423 as the last number in the version.

If you're seeing the same, I don't know. May be someone else has ideas as how to fix help.

In the worst case scenario you may need to cleanly uninstall VFP and re-install VFP9 SP2 and then apply the latest hotfix.

>VFP90SP2-KB952548-ENU.EXE - I can confirm that this one installed because my .exe files have the correct file date (June 3, 2008)

>I tried this also: I downloaded the SP2 help file from the MSFT site (dated 04/25/08) and it "works" in that I now have my examples and links. But it appears a bit "broken". If I then download the one from vfpcodeplex, the links are broken.

>>>Hi all,

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
