I think every person on the planet likes the idea of being taken care of by the government, but that system just does not work. Are liberals in a perpetual search for the balancing point where just enough people are working to support those who cannot or don't? That's very close to charity at the point of a gun. The more to the left politics go, the more likely the government is to fail. Pelosi seems to be quite far to the left. In fact her stance caused some of her own party to not vote for her as leader (or whatever she is now) The left's ideas work well until they run out of other people's money, which they did. It is impossible to spend themselves out of debt. The only outcome is being in a deeper mess than when they started, which is what happened. So, I'll take the new (R) speaker over lightning lips Pelosi every time.
