>>>Well I was not born here but have lived in CT since about 1985. Lived close to Coventry too... in Tolland for 20yrs, now in Manchester.
>>>
>>>I was born in Manchester ... but only because my grandmother was a nurse at the hospital there and Coventry has no hospitals. My mother moved to Manchester a few years ago ... after selling the big house in Coventry that we all grew up in.

>Well, there *were* 5 of us!

>Not giving you a hard time. I didn't know you are quite SO short. Height runs in my family. My older daughter is 5'6". The younger one is 5'9" and was an outside hitter on the volleyball team.>
>I'm the shortest (and the oldest) ... and proud of it!! I've never had a chip on my shoulder about being short ... I kinda like the distinction! <g> My sisters got gradually taller, according to birth order, with my youngest sister being the tallest and maybe about average height (or a hair under). My parents were both short too, so none of it is surprising. <g>

How about that left eyebrow? ;-) I had almost forgotten about it. She worked as a lifeguard and swim teacher at the local pool the last two summers. At the end of the season pool party one of the male lifeguards, being a goofball, jumped her into the pool and they went all the way to the bottom. Whammo. She said it was bleeding like crazy.
