In a 2001 interview, Vick told the Newport News Daily Press that when he was 10 or 11, "I would go fishing even if the fish weren't biting, just to get away from the violence and stress of daily life in the projects."[8]

So...on the one hand, he acknoweldged at 10 or 11 what "violence and stress" were all about - and yet didn't realize killing dogs was wrong. Untenable....

He's known all along it was wrong...his "epiphany" and his public speeches of remorse came when he got caught, and needed to show remorse to get back into the league.

Vick is a dog-killer and a liar - nothing will ever change that. Yes, he paid for his crime, I acknowledge that. But it won't change what he is.

If the NFL and the Eagles wanted to keep the door open for him to return...fine...it's their decision. It's also my decision to cheer like crazy when a defensive lineman like Clay Matthews flattens him.
