>>Overall, I'm pleased with the device. EXOPC needs to get their UI completed and put out some serious application. Other hardware vendors are planning on using the EXO GUI over Windows7. Currently they only have flash games available to download for free off of the online store. That's great if you're into flash games, but I'm waiting for the "killer apps" that was promised to be coming.

Actually, from my experience, the 4-5 hr battery life is a bit optimistic. 3.5 is what I'm experiencing. Mind you it will all depend on the settings and what you're doing with the device. I've shut off Bluetooth but left WiFi on which will tend to drain the battery faster but I can live with that. I've set the brightness all the way down to "0" and in a darkened room (like when I'm using the device in bed) that even seems too bright!

Let's just say that battery life is not one of its strong points and whenever I can, I use it plugged in. I've heard of possible third party jackets/sleeves/docks/folios that would add an external keyboard and potentially have a built in battery to extend the life. That would be a clever design if they could keep the weight down. I'm very curious about the new tablets announced at CES2011 and how their battery life hold up. Some are Windows; others Android; some dual core CPUs; some have real HDDs. Definitely interesting times ahead for the tablet/slate market!
