I'm using a ActiveX controls (NEWT Internet POP & SMTP controls) that require the use of a pre-defined 'Variant' data type variable. VFP6 help (under 'variant data types') shows that VFP6 supports a Variant data type. The question is: How do you define it or create it?

(as in the VB command: Dim msg As Variant)
(or VFP's STORE (?) to msg)
