Since I've read much of the thread already, I know the context. I think it was a poor choice to say it.

Palin and her map symbols are " suggesting or even hinting that the right way to deal with a political opponent is with a weapon".

Obama's statement about bringing a gun to a knife fight is " a poor choice".


Am I correct?
