Yep. That's exactly what I think that I meant that I thought I said... :)

A relative of mine started a business and used to give away his time a lot, or not charge what his services were worth, and veryone thought he was one terrific guy. Then he went bankrupt and they were gone. There's a happy medium between delivering a good product for a reasonable and fair cost.

I'm not in this for just the money, but I believe if someone hires you, you get paid for your time. That's why it called contracting. You agree on the scope of the project; if you deliver, you get paid.
