>The temp rose from minus 22 Centigrade to minus 5 and the sun shone, on our side of the clouds, for the first time over a week. It snowed most of the time last week too. I have snow banks that are almost six feet high. Then, I looked at the roof. Depending on where you look there is three to four feet. So, out came the ladder and I went up and shovelled some of the stuff to the lawn. I'll to more tomorrw. i have to get it done before it gets too heavy for me or the rafters. Sore arms. rubbery legs. I feel like a Seattle SeaHawk.

Dangerous! When I lived in Wisconsin, my neighbors got tired of shoveling snow off the roof so they started stapling plastic sheeting on the roof in the fall and the snow would slide right off when it got heavy....
