I tested with your account locally and it was instant. For exceptionnal cases, such as yours, as you keep everything in there, I have put a verification to show a year/month filter instead of just a year. That made the big difference so far. As to know why it is a little slow from now on, I have no idea at this point. I will have to do more tests. It might be slow after a compilation, as as I said, it might take a few minutes for SQL Server to start caching the major accesses to the big tables. But, after that, it should be pretty much fast. We got used to obtain everything under 0.1 second here. But, with the number of messages you keep in your replies, I am trying to find the best approach so to have it fast like that as well instead of 0.5 to 2.0 seconds for example.
