>Speaking of the things that are, I get a weekly email from (blanking on the name) and see Nick has become quite the speed skater. Cool! It seems like just yesterday that he was born. It does go by fast, doesn't it? Emily's college acceptances are coming in and in seven months she will be off.

Nick is in the last long track meet this weekend (there's one more short track meet in March, but he isn't as good at short track). If he does really well, he might qualify for the Canadian championships in his age class. The funny thing is, all he talks about these days is football: what position will he play next year, what position he'll play in college, what team will he play for in the NFL or CFL. He likes to dream, that boy {g}.

Yeah, it sure does go fast. College already -- wow!
