OK, to follow up - I have a simple, normal list (not a pop-up, drop-down combo effort) - just a simple list.

If I put *any* code in the click() event handler it will intercept any attempts to double-click. Although I've 'solved' this by using inkey(), I can't believe I'm the first to come across this and I must have missed something obvious. Any clues?

I've tried setting _DBLCLICK.
Enter is captured correctly as a double-click (when the list has the focus).

I'm just generally interested rather than stuck (I have the workaround).
