The most interesting is the split tv - it shows the difference between Al jazeera's live tv and Egyptian live tv...

They are still broadcasting live and it's amazing (fighter jets flying LOW and armored vehicles now in greater numbers):

The crowds are still growing...and there is a much larger show of force by the military now. Helicopters are flying over now too... this could really really go bad... at a minimum it's an attempt to intimidate the protestors...

More (lots) options to view at the very bottom of this page:

and a couple here:

9:10am Eastern Time: According to Hillary Clinton just now, the army is protecting the protestors and performing the role of a police force and is in a "delicate" position....she's now speaking of how Egypt has been a partner for years and the U.S. is conveying publicly and privately that greater political and economic freedom is necessary and all parties need to refrain from violence but peaceful protests need to be supported and allowed to continue on. And now she is stating that Mubharak and his VP and any party in control needs to reach out to the public and institute reform but all the violence (prison breaks, looting, fighting, etc) needs to stop. Change is up to the Egyptian people, but elections are already scheduled and should respond to the political desires of the people and more needs to occur. National dialogue needs to start but it will take time, etc.....The U.S. is not advocating any specific outcome, the future of Egypt is up to the Egyptian people, not any outside government (read U.S.) etc...

According to the people on the street interviewed, some people have caught looters and the looters had police ids on them and the police released the prisoners from the prison so the people think that the police are trying to escalate the protests and violence in order to frighten the public into returning to their homes...
