I know what you mean. Many years ago I got turned off commercial mystery meats in general, and hot dogs in particular, after reading a news article. A meat packing operation in central BC got fined for selling hot dogs that had 10% sawdust and floor sweepings. The problem was, this exceeded the allowable maximum 6% :((~~~
