FWIW, I don't think any of this matters much any more. Mobile devices *have* reached the tipping point. Android leads the pack and neither NET nor VFP seems particularly relevant in that new world. Yeah, I know you can do mono on platforms apart from WP7 but Novell just got bought by Attachmate and who knows whether they'll decide to Fox it. If NET ends up for WP7 alone, it's just not very important.
