Should be a good one tonight. Nevada is down this year, but is still dangerous.

I watched the entire game...I thought Nevada played poorly, especially in the 2nd half.

Utah State played pretty well. Their shooting % isn't all that great, but they rebound well and don't seem to make many mistakes. They need to give Brady Jardine more minutes - 14 points and 9 boards in just 20 minutes. That kid could do some real damage.

So I have to admit, I took an interest in this team tonight.

Here's their problem....they're about 28th in the RPI. The overall WAC conference RPI is 15th. Fair or unfair, the tournament selection committee looks at RPI. They REALLY looked at it last year.

So even if Utah St. wins out and deserves a good regional seed (like a 3 or 4), they still might not get much higher than a 10 and might have to play someone like Tennessee or even North Carolina in the first round.

Last year they were 14-2 in their conference, but only got a 12 seed and got bounced by Texas A&M, That's the problem with the mid-majors, and I agree, it does suck. They'll need teams like Arizona, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Purdue, etc. to start losing multiple games

OK, now for the fans.....sorry Craig, but those are dorkiest, nerdiest fans I've ever seen. I got really tired of that Wild Bill character. I'm so glad the St Mary's game won't be in Logan.
