The "experts" have said in past years that Utah State would get in without winning their conference tournament. The "experts" were wrong. It's going to boil down to the Saint Mary's game on Feb. 19. If the Aggies win they *might* get in without winning the conference tourney. If the Aggies lose (which I expect they will), they will have to win the tourney to get in.

>As always, I follow the Big Ten most closely. Ohio State is for real but I'm not sure any of the rest of them are. Michigan State started out ranked at the top and everybody is beating them. Illinois has a couple very good young guys but they are still inconsistent. Wisconsin is playing pretty well but is plagued by their usual shortage of athleticism. When they get to the tournament and go against the teams who play above the rim they will be easy pickings.
