And have them getting worse each year.

I've been in Kansas since January of 1994. Through the 90's, we'd be suprised if we had a snowfall more than 4 or 5 inches once in a winter. Lots of little snowfalls, but nothing that made me even think about a snowblower or plow for my house. A shovel might be needed once in a while.

Since 2000 at least, we've been getting whacked harder every winter with lots more and more often snow, and much colder temps throughout the winter.

Global warming my butt.

BTW it's currently 19F this afternoon with wind chill making it a cozy 7F. Yesterday we had a high of 5F, -8F and wind chill of -25F last night.

We had an estimated 6-8 inches of snow yesterday, but the wind was blowing well enough to sweep a lot of the area clean - it's all accumulated in drifts. We have one drift in the pasture that is over 5 feet high.
