T-Mobile's unlimited limit is 5gig - go over that and you're not on 4G, not on 3G, but throttled to EDGE until the next billing cycle. Even those grandfathered have the same problem. So sure it's "unlimited" - but go over the 5gig limit and you're connection is so slow it's useless.

EDIT: It is actually possible to bypass t-mobile's throttling. Once you're throttled you have to change your phones APN to the old voicestream one (and change the MMS server too if you want SMS and picture mail to work right) - then once the billing cycle is over put them back to the original tmobile ones.

>>So if you're one of the top 5% users on their "unlimited" data plan - they throttle your connection to a slow crawl for TWO billing cycles!

>>This one seems pretty bad because 5% is going to add up to a lot of users. Guess this is how they plan to deal with all the new iPhone users? Instead of fixing network just stiff customer?

>>Are their any ACTUAL unlimited wireless plans left in the USA or have we been screwed by them all now?
