>>>It appears that their previous attempts to portray themselves and their goals as neutral regarding their politics and only a democracy seeking group in western media (other than Al Jazeera which is not western media but had the same interview at one time stating the same -- see my previous posts or more info) have been abandoned completely:

>On BBC this morning (about 3:30 yawn) an Egyptian doctor took over the conversation from the reporter and stated that there are 81 million Egyptians and only a few of them are demontrating against the government. The rest, he said, liked things the way they are. He went on the blame the whole thing on a conspiracy by the western press who must appologize to the Egyptian people. About ten minutes later it was reported that the Ayattola in Iran had announced that the Egyptian people were experiencing the awakening of Islam in their country. . . . . . And, (Dolly sings) Here is comes again . . . . .

That conspiring western press has been taking a lot of pictures and videos in Egypt. Looks like a lot of demonstrators to me.

According to this site 94% of Egyptians are Sunni Muslims, so I would say Islam is already awake. Maybe the ayatollah only counts Shiites, not Sunnis. Cursed infidels!
