Yes, pretty much. Get ready for it because I think they're going to vote him in again next year. The Republicans in the House are already acting financially reckless. They have an arithmetic problem. They want to maintain or increase military spending, are locked in on Social Security, Medicare, and the debt (three of the biggest items in the budget), cut taxes, and reduce the deficit by 9% in an economy that is still in recovery. I am not being hyperpartisan about it but their numbers don't add up. Some of them are also making noise about refusing to raise the debt ceiling this year, even though that would wreak havoc with global bond markets and possibly shut down the government again. Is 1995 too long ago for them to remember? That's coming up soon. The budget has to be approved by early March or there is literally no money.
