Again, thanks for the prompt response.
The history was that the software worked fine in-house, then we acquired another company and installed the same software there.
On the second site, they started reporting that they were having problems that we never had on our original site.
In addition, they only reported that these problems occured on workstations that had Windows 7 installed, on their XP workstations, they were of the opinion that they did not have any problems. Our site is still on XP!
An example where value of 54.00 was saying that it was not the same as 54.00, so when I set decimals to 6 it showed 54.000000 against 54.000006
On XP workstations I do not appear to get this result
I have fixed the issue by using rounding at a specific point, but am just curious to see if this is the reason!
