Ahsan,

If you have some client software to test queries in MySQL, I suggest to test the query in MySQL first.

I have links to several blogs showing many solutions for this common problem, you may want to pick up a different solution, not the one I showed. The blogs are for SQL Server, but many queries should apply with no or little changes in MySQL:
