I'm sure I am one of many who agree with you that VFP is still the best solution for many problems.
When .NET was introduced there were many VB6 developers who chose to look for an alternative to VB.NET (for many good reasons). So, I created a web site to help them move to VFP (
http://www.affordablecustomsoftware.com/vbtofox/). When MS announced the end of VFP I thought there would be no more visitors to the site. I was wrong. To this day, people are still using the site to help them convert their VB apps to VFP.
