I know of companies who "bought out or into" a competitor to gain the .net version and then offer both with an upgrade path to the .net version in order to make it available sooner rather than later. I'm seeing a lot of android supplemental apps for businesses, but not as replacements. I do see a lot of buzz now with developers pushing WP7 at user groups but that is mostly due to the push by MSFT. Right now the WP7 apps I see being done at companies are still in the proof of concept phase (pending interest and adoption of WP7 phones by clients) whereas the android apps are mostly in the delivery phase.

One thing that does seem to be different: early adoption and requests for android light versions of apps are moving far faster than the same for pocket pc's back when...
