Thank you for your input and the program.

The problem is resolved.

I opened the .PJX as a dbf, and browsed the table. I found a number of entries that referred to local drives and files (all referrences should have been to the network drive.)

I deleted those entries and packed and closed the file.
Then I could open and manipulate the file like it was supposed to be.

Quoc and Willie...you may want to check your project like this...the fields of interest are the memo fields (name and homedir mainly)

BTW - I looked for a NavN field and couldn't find it.
