LOL. The fact that the market deserted Symbian despite its previously dominant position seems to suggest that people are not cattle to be directed, they can make choices. However, MS's and Nokia's expectations seem to be the opposite. Their expectation is that shared dominance can counteract the market preference for other devices. That hasn't worked out for either of them so far in mobile, but perhaps the combination will do the trick.
