This reminds me of when I lived in a rural area about 6 years ago. Every time anything was done in the area that involved digging (sewer lines, power lines, water lines, cable, phone, etc), I would lose my cable or phone connection. They always seemed to cut my lines in the process of "fixing" someone else's...
