Someone else the other day recommended removing any properties that you added to a class that have been natively added to the VFP baseclasses. Look in help Reference, Language Overview, New and Enhanced Language to see what's been added to each class.

>Attempting to move a VFP5 app to VFP6, I tried to open my base app class (a custom class designed to do simple application wide house-keeping) and got the following VFP error message:

>and then Foxpro shut down.
