Title:
Table has become corrupt
We receive DBase III tables to import into our SQL Server database. We use VFP9 to open the DBFs and import into SQL Server.
Occasionally the Dbase III DBF comes to us corrupted and VFP reports that the "Table mydbf.dbf has become corrupted. The table will need to be repaired before using again".
The person sending the DBF says that they can open the DBF in Dbase III ok. Why can they open a corrupted DBF in Dbase III when VFP9 can't?
