That's a nice endorsement. I agree the product looks nice. The interface is especially appealing (jQuery, AJAX ? very web 2.0)
One thing I'd like to see is for them to use activeVFP as the backend engine. In addition to making the product cheaper (since activeVFP is free/open source) it would make it possible to run the web app at a cheap web host which is sorely lacking in wwc. Performance and scaling would also be increased.
>I have seen plenty of products come and go, advertise great things, and flame out in beta. Or worse, get off to a start and then abandon ship. AFP, VFP2IIS, and a gaziliion others promising to web-ify and/or extend the life of your VFP apps.
I have been working a bit with the FoxinCloud guys, and I think it may be the real McCoy. Besied being open and responsive, so far they have met every one of their deliverable deadlines and at each phase the product does exactly what they say it will.
They have managed to turn a very jaded and cynical person into a fan,
>The entire FoxInCloud materials look very well crafted and planned. Excellent video indeed.
