Hi Annibale,
1) Make sure the printer you are using is set as the Windows default printer.
2) Be sure that the report was designed on THIS printer, not another. If this is impossible, then open the report as a table with USE MyTable.FRX and empty the EXPR, TAG and TAG2 fields in the FIRST record only.
3) Check the Page Setup on the report to be sure your margins are set correctly. Some printers will require larger margins than others.
I hope this will help some of your problems with reports.
To answer your other questions: There have been many threads on UT about the future of VFP. Personally I believe that there IS a future for it, and am continuing to learn VFP6. There is quite a lot of work for VFP in the US, although not much for Visual Objects.
