I don't disagree that interest in VB is decreasing in the market place. I do disagree that Microsoft is giving VB a slow death. Remember, when MS started killing VFP, there was little to no marketing. Hiring on the VFP team was stopped. It was harder to get releases out due to internal political pressure. I see none of that happening with VB today.
