I've been kicking off some long processes and what you say appears to be true. The paging doesn't seem to matter. Now, I'm looking at memory allocation etc. The biggest problem turned out to be the SET ANSI ON, from vfp 8 to vfp 9. The performance is definitely better but I'm experimenting, to see how much performance I can eke out.
