You decided what the options were and only provided two options and decided on your own that if anyone chooses #2 that is "giving up on you." Silly. Do you take everyone here for a fool?

Choosing this option will not enable his bad habits, support Mike in his attempt to get and stay sober, and break his patterns and not fall into his attempt at manipulation into choosing an unhealthy option.

PS -- It's election day here in Chicago, and you know those are honest ;-)

This should be my last UT post for a while and it may as well be to you. Not that anything ever happened between us, because nothing ever did. Just thinking of Wisconsin. I have been riveted to the news from Madison, getting front line reports. My college GF from Mad Town found me on Facebook a couple of weeks ago. She has lived in Madison her whole life. Her mom was the first president of the teacher's union and her dad was the first lead counsel. She is red, in more ways than one, and has been going to the barricades at the Capitol every day. She has been taking her 9 year old daughter, which IMO is a terrific civics lesson. She forwarded me an email from Fred, her mom's long time second husband (they were a long time couple even when Cindi and I were together), saying Judi is going crazy over this, pacing the floor at all hours.

The better part of the story is Cindi wants to get back together with me. What a miracle, 30 years apart. We always got along great and never broke up. I moved to Dallas to take my first real job. Is life not full of nice surprises? I told her yes, hell yes, and we are working it out. So I guess I can take a few dings on the UT.

Mike
