The only concession some of them make are for card swipes to allow for payment options. My chief at my training course were using Facit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facit) . He couldn't use electronic calculator. :)

It was a noisy thing. There is no +, -, *, / signs. just a metal stick.
