- Microsoft geared the initial release of WP7 to consumers, most of whom do not use Outlook for personal email.
- If I read things correctly, only the Samsung was bricked. That tells me it's a Samsung issue, not a Microsoft issue. The update was not rolled out to all WP7 users. My phone did not report an update being available, but I didn't check Zune.
- The update only updates the update mechanism. It doesn't add any new user features such as copy/paste. That's due in March.
- What's your issue with Zune software? You need iTunes for the iPhone and Apple software is just horrible on Windows.

>Making a long story short - I figured out how to install Android 2.3 and WM7 on it. I tried WM7 for a couple of weeks - I do like the interface for it, how fast it runs, and NetFlix streaming works on it. Other than that it really pretty much sucks cause there isn't much software for it and you have to have the Zune software installed on your PC to sync with it. Plus they left out some pretty obvious things - for example you can't sync with outlook! I finally installed the hotmail connector and was able to sync that way but geeze how dumb is that? Plus I see Micr$oft started pushing out their fine new WM7 update last night and it started bricking phones so now they've pulled that. Greeeat. I dunno sure seems like a rocky start too me.
