Hi Francois,

Pyjamas is just the Google Web Toolkit (1.0 as of now), except you write in Python instead of Java. The Javascript generated should be the same as the GWT (since a Java to Javascript converter was used for the first pass, as I understand it).

Dabo has what I need for data handling in that I start with metadata (think: xCase with extended attributes), and want to hook into the cursor. It's all there.

And we are aiming at different places. For the desktop alone, pyQT4 looks pretty good. But for the developers I serve, being on every platform, every device, is either a requirement, or a market differentiator.

Good luck. And enjoy your Python. Like you, I will be on 2.x for a while (until all the libraries have been ported, I would think), and it's not a big problem. I can get what I need now with __futures__.

Hank

I still feel inclined to go the traditional WX or QT way. Dabo would be overkill as it is not highly databased.
