>The biggest drawback for me in using vm for development is the limitation on activex controls... try using VFP help sometime and clicking on the "+" sign to expand any item. Is there anyway to change that? If he covers it in the talk, please post here! Thanks! :o)

I frequently use VM under W7 and all sorts of ActiveX controls for encryption, FTP, SFTP, etc. with no problems so far. I don't do any actual programming under VM but rather use it for setting up different versions of Windows and various execution environments where I have to install VPN clients and other stuff I don't want cluttering up my development environment. Maybe that's why I haven't had any difficulties to speak of, other than occasionally having to delete a VM because some software I didn't want in my development environment (because I thought it was problematic) caused a serious problem. The improvements of VM under W7 are a good reason to move to W7 if you haven't done so already.
