The Prius is different looking. A lot of that is due to the aerodynamics - Toyota put a lot of research into getting low drag while still having some interior room (I'm 6feet 6inches tall and I'm comfortable in it). We did a family vacation to florida over the Christmas holiday - 1500 miles each way with my wife, my 11 yr old son, and me and all our luggage. Coming back we even had a parrot, traveling cage, and various presents stuffed in too. We were fairly comfortable. Not bad for a small package.

>There's no tax advantage to hybrid cars at my country, these cars are so expensive so a few people/companies buy hybrid cars just for environmental reasons.

We don't get a break on hybrids anymore - only on all electric or otherwise gas free vehicles. Luckily we did get a tax break when we bought my wife's Prius in 2009 right before all breaks went away.

The 2010 Prius has more headroom than the earlier versions - good thing since I do not have enough room in my wife's Prius.
