Ah. I have put the foreign key data entry form in the rightclick popup menu for controls (if they have one). Since I think of right click as giving options to "affect this field." I use double click (sometimes) to initialize a field or open up a larger window for editing (as with memos). So, just my personal suggestion would be to add the popup form to the rightclick menu. IOW, it is too easy (IMHO) for a user to doubleclick accidentally, and I know mine would be confused by a different form popping up.
