The worst recording of all time, is Mariah Carey's version of Without You, it's just awful, like all her other songs. If her ex husband had not spent most of Sony's money to promote her, nobody would ever have heard of her. It's amazing what you can do with a lot of money, a pair of big breasts plus Auto-Tune. A local radio station have a program where people can send in their wishes, which than are compiled into a medley. A few years ago someone wished to hear this song, and after the medley was played, the DJ said something like "that's about the worst medley I have ever played, let me play a really fine song to create a balance". He then played the original recording of Without You, by Harry Nilsson.
I also hate all the singers who are not able to hold a note, but instead they sound more like a rusty steel guitar. One of these singers is Celine Dion, I'd rather listen to my cat howling at the moon.
