Hi All,

I just moved from XP Pro 32 bit to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Install a little unorthodox but have reinstalled VFP 9.0 SP2 and fix for SP2 but problem persists. Problem: I know I have some pointer in foxpro wrong or something. I have read enough to know that much.

With no app running except VFP itself. Simply go to Help-->About Microsoft Visual Foxpro and click the System Info..." button and the results is "Can't collect Information" further details provided are "Cannot access the Windows Management Instrumentation software. Windows Management files may be moved or missing."

I used an app named PCMover to move VFP to the new pc rather than install. Why is complicated. Anyway, I have read enough to understand that it seems it would be a registry value or something that did not get copied over correctly.

Any help much appreciated. John
