All was beginning to look promising until it reached:

IF oSheet.CheckBoxes(i).Name = lcCheckboxName

That's where I got error 1426 (80020006: Unknown Name)

I checked out the help file and all I got was:
"You have received an error code from OLE (in hex), and a brief description of the error. The remedy depends on the error returned by OLE."

Any further suggestions?
