>Joy & Angel,
>I've worked with both SBT and Visual AccountMate products and MUCH prefer VAM. Easier to modify, and more features in the basic modules.
I've just recently converted Weatherhill to VAM from SBT. The code is infinitely better, hooks to other apps easily, and the biggest selling point for us was that it had a conversion package that moved our SBT data into VAM, and provided what we needed buying it fresh with a whole lot less hassle than an SBT upgrade. We haven't used it for very long (this is our first month of just VAM; we ran it parllel with SBT for a couple of months) but our accounting types like it a whole lot, and since we deal in multiple currencies, it's much better for our environment.

>>I've also heard of Visual AccountMate. Written by a few of the same people that wrote SBT, and who are still on good terms with SBT, but have branched out on their own. I've heard the code is tighter. Haven't actually worked with it, though.
