I've always thought the same as Nicholas as far as the brushing time. I could spend 2 minutes on 1 tooth and that would fulfill my dental obligations, but wouldn't help my teeth much. The 2 minutes is a pointless number. Now, if they came out and said 1.25 seconds per tooth face, then it might make sense. However, 1.25 seconds per tooth face doesn't seem like much.
