>I have an interesting question, well maybe not. But here goes anyhow. Which file structure is better Visual FoxPro 5.0, 3.0 or Access ( Any Version ). I would appreciate any input. One of the companies I am doing work for is considering using access, because they say - Foxpro files get damaged too easily.

VFP3.0 and VFP5.0 file struct is pretty much the same
anyway usually corruption is due to crashes etc. at regular use VFP files are stable
and IAC foxpro files that crashes are usually very simple to fix
(in 99% of corruptions it is just a matter of fixing the header - something that your program can do automatically)

consider that Access files can crash as well and when all the data is in one file IMHO this is more dangerous
